[Almaink]

Just putting this out there so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I went to Dicks on Friday night to buy some lures and while there figured I get new line on both my reels as I had them in the truck. Next morning while rigging up I thought it odd the line was breaking when I tied a lure on but being early I didn't think much about it and just retied. Second cast I hooked up and one turn of the reel the line snapped right at the bail. I was like WTF? I grabbed the line in both hands and tugged it snapped. I did it again and same result. 6 lb. test shouldn't do that. Lucky for me I live close by where I was opening morning so I went home and spooled up one reel with some leftover line I had on a spool from last year. I did catch 4 brookies when I went back so the day wasn't a total wash. I also called the manager at Dicks and told him I wasn't happy. He said he'd make it up to me next time I come in. We will see.
