Default Ocean Exploring Today and signs of Hope

4-5-13 The weather man got it wrong today..It was raining this morning but it ended early and the winds never came up at all..Flat calm and sunny all day..We did not find much life offshore again today,,,few ling here and there, strong current,,few blackfish..Not good..but finally we went inshore when I saw the water temps up to almost 44 degrees which is the warmest I have seen since end of December and had life pretty quick in 70ft.of water..Decent bites with both perch and Togs,,,had a handful of keeper Togs and some shorts in only a short time period at the end of the day so it finally looks promising.I also noticed some striped bass finally up on top to,,and some reading around some of the rocks...Ahhhhh,finally a sign of hope..See ya tomorrow..
