First did my usual stop at farrington this morning and picked off 5 or so crappies. slow action, plus it was too cold and 1 sweater didnt keep me warm enough to stay out in the wind for more than an hour. went down the road to davidson mills pond for a while. got 2 bass on a brush hog, lost another one. later i stopped by carnegie lake and it was dead for the most part until late afternoon. had one rod set up for cats while trying to jig up perch and crappies; ended the day with 4 cats and a few crappies right when the sun went down. last day of cold weather for a long time, finally
