Well.. the best thing I can tell you, is to check out Google and Bing Maps. Take an aerial view of the Passaic River. Depending where "the restaurant" is you should be able to find a shore access point.
The river is stocked in multiple locations with pike. Check out this link which has been posted in a previous thread.

There's no Secret spot I can Tell you about. Do a little research and I promise you it will pay off.
