I somehow managed to spend 2 hours at the show, although more than a 1/2 hour of that was the animal show for the kids and my son did the "mining" for minerals at one of the booths selling rocks. lol
It's more of a family outing than something I can get my fishing-fix met with. I renewed my RVTA membership while there and got only a few things from the Worm Bar this year as I'm trying to scale down on my tackle box and need to make use of things I got from the Worm Bar the last 2 years.
I did get some jerky though. And toffee. If the venue were an hour away from me I'd probably not go but it's close enough to home and has enough to keep the kids happy for the day.
Plus I don't get too many chances to win a $5,000 gift card for Bass Pro Shops. I didn't win but I'll get telemarketers calling me about my "free" vacation that I only have to lay out a few hundred bucks to collect.
