Duratin hooks are way to thick , and even when sharpened punch too big a hole.

The needle point mustads are much better suited for our fisheries here we use them for.
They also seem to balance alot better when tied and using a strip bait, the duratins seem to tip the head up too much due to the weight being further back

I also like the Owner Jig hooks as they are a little stronger than the mustad hooks. but they are pretty pricey $$$
at over a buck a hook.

so for most jigs I go with the mustads
