Lake George. 3 hrs, 200 miles from NJ.
I have a cabin on the lake.
Spring, lake trout and salmon off docks by streams
Summer, trout, salmon, bass, perch, panfish, ect
Fall, all of the above.
Kayak shop where you can do weekly rentals for a few hundred bucks.
You can camp on the islands on the lake which is an adventure in itself.
There are a few fishing charters on the lake. Rod bender being one of the better ones.
