I'm a big fan of slide tracks. They give you all kinds of options. I use Scotty stuff, and their new "gear head track adapters" make it easy to set rod holders(or any other accessory) at any angle or location when ever you want.
Also, if you plan on installing a fish finder, the way to go with installing your transducer is using Duct Seal. It's like $2.50 from Home Depot and has performed better than any epoxy i have used.
