Hit 2 bridges today from 5-7pm and got the skunk... but I did see something funny as hell... It was about 6:45pm and really starting to get dark.. I decided to take a few last couple of casts before I would decide to leave... I was tossing a popper with a twin tail grub trailer.... As I was casting I had one of those pretty big seagulls or whatever they are fly up and land next to me about 6 feet away from me on the bank as I was fishing.. I thought nothing of it and continued to cast away.. Well, on one of my casts and retreive this seagull decided to chase and start attacking the popper in the water... lmao
I was trying to reel this popper in as fast as I could but this Seagull kept attacking the popper, picking it up and dropping it, picking it up and dropping it... this thing kept attacking the popper all the way to about 3 ft away from me from the bank... at one point this seagull had my popper about 30 ft in the air trying to fly away with it...
Im just thankful I didnt hook it.... oh well, just though Id share this crazy story...
