It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce that my close friend and "brother" Juan Flores lost his battle with cancer this morning. A devoted family man, a great guy, and an unbelievable fisherman with a heart of gold. Juan was a master of the Jigging/Popping technique of light tackle tuna fishing and I helped him put out several excellent articles on the topic. I am truly grateful for the time I had to spend with him and the excellent fishing adventures we experienced together.....fish on my friend....fish on....Capt. Dave Vollenweider
