Fish the same set up with an older STRADIC 2500 (grey model) fished the rocks the snake the river, 80ft of water in the Vineyard with 5oz and caught a few 4-6# sea bass (offshore big dogs) ROD HELD UP NO PROBLEM..
The shorter length with the soft tip shouldnt fool ya this baby got back....
Oh and I bought mine from MAX @ Pride...so he isn't just advertising
IMHO great little rod a bit $$ but well worth it
