Want to start this off by giving a special thanks to the two guys that pointed me in the right direction. You know who you are. I was nervous about taking an hour and a half to drive up there and then being completely lost.

Having said that, had a great day. Picked up my buddy and hit the road at 4:30. Hit a spot to the west of two bridges at 6am. got out of the car and saw fish blowing up on top. Threw some topwater and had all kinds of misses. Threw on a spinnerbait and finally hooked up. got one nice pike(my first ever) and a baby at that spot in about an hour( with about 10-15 misses) Packed up and headed south a little. fished under a crappy little bridge and had steady action for 2 hours. ended up with 5 pike landed a small pickerel and a really nice bass that went about 4#. back in the car and home by 1 for work.
