Re: Lake Ontario lodge/ marina?
As Bunker Dunker suggests, I would consider Fair Haven.. There is a state park there that offers a great ramp, and they also rent cabins.. The location is well suited to a smaller boat, as it offers access to Little Sodus bay...which can be a day-saver when the wind blows.. Little Sodus usually not the best for Salmonids, but it's loaded with Bass, Pike, pannies, etc.. nice back up plan if you can't get on the big lake... there is also a smaller "pond" in the middle of the park that feeds into the lake that has good shore fishing for warmwater species..and only about a 20 min run over to Oswego for even more options.. Although we always pull our own boats up there, plenty of charters are available out of Fair Haven .. Screwy Louie is one that comes to mind.. He also runs a tackle shop of the same name in town and can give you some good intel about whats going on.. Have a great trip !
