Default Re: Mulhockaway Creek

I have caught many wild browns there in the past, some of a decent size. Very pretty fish. In fall some big browns come up from the reservoir to spawn.

When I used to fish it F&G would stock brookies and browns in there as well, I don't know if they still do. I've also caught smaller brookies there which may have been wild.

There's a small tributary that flows in about a quarter mile before the creek meets the reservoir, and that holds trout too. I know people may think I'm full of it for saying this but I once caught a WILD TIGER TROUT from that little trickle. It was about 6 inches and had the unmistakeable markings and perfect fins.

I miss that little river. Thanks for sharing your reports on it, it really takes me back.
