Left the kayak home and went down to one of my spots for a bit after work today. Radar showed some rain coming, so I grabbed my rain gear just in case and hoped for some feeding fish. Ended up with 2 decent pike and 2 chunky rock bass. First pike hit a husky jerk, second hit a shiner. Both rock bass took shiners as well. Both pike put up great fights, both jumping multiple times
. Headed home before 8pm just as it started drizzling. 4 fish in 2 hours is fine by me anyday.
