Will hopefully be hitting the water in a week or 2 and was wondering about a few things.

First, I was thinkin about hitting the bottom of my 12ft jonboat with some spray seal. Spray on rubber like the one in the comercial were they put the screen door on the bottom of the boat. Necessary? Don't think it needs it but just thinkin about prevention?

Second, thinkin about a paint job before I apply my registration decals. Is there boat specific paint at home depot? What are the regulations regarding this?
