I snuck out of work an hour early and hit a local spot for about an hour. Landed one small bass and a crappie on a rapala fished slow. As the sun was going down, I even saw some surface activity!
At this point, I'm not sure whether to call this very early season or very late season. Either way, I'm liking it!
