Default Fish Stix's - Fish Cakes!!!!!

I posted this recipe a couple of years ago. But the fall season is here and the stripers and blackfish are biting pretty good. Nothing better then bringing some FISH CAKES to the holiday parties! Have a happy holiday season and enjoy!

Capt Kris' FISH CAKES

Ingredients:

1 striped bass around 28-35" OR a 10lb TOG!
2 eggs
1/2 cup mayo
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp old bay
1 tsp pepper
3 pinches of fresh asiago cheese
1/2 large onion- minced straind
1 1/2 red pepper- minced straind
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 fresh lemon juiced
5 cloves garlic- minced
Italian Seasonings

Instructions:

Salt, pepper, and italian seasonings the fish.
Squeezed juice of 1 fresh lemon onto fish filets.
Cut lemon into chunks and lay face down on fish.
Put in foil packet sealed tightly and steam in oven.
425 degrees for 30 minutes. Fish will flake easily.

Strain fish. Mix all ingredients except fish. Wisk thoroughly.
Add fish and fold.
Add bread crumbs ONLY if necessary!!(so drain any juices you can!!)
Put in the refrigerator covered for 2 hours.
Form cakes on greased cookie sheet and sprinkle old bay on top
Broil in oven until nicely brown.
When broiled drizzle with remuloude sauce for dipping(I like
Louisiana Remuloude, can purchase in ketchup aisle at market).

Enjoy!!
