Default Re: Trout Cruzing the shore RVR

Yesterday, as there was no wind (do best there when it's blowing out of the NW), didn’t wade fish the eastern shore. On a tip from a boat angler, decided to try the southern shore off of “The Pines”.

Caught a couple of dink smallies on a Yo Zuri. I could see some trout in the shallows, and every so often one would dimple / fin @ the surface. One trout jumped clear of the water. Cast after cast,…..nothing.

In waist deep water, I spied an unopened bottle of beer. Kicked it to the shoreline,………….a Beck’s!,…..my favorite!! Enjoyed a cold one, sitting on a shoreline rock watching a few trout break the “calm as mill pond” surface,……………& then, refreshed,…….on the first cast, a plump, 16.5” brown!
