Maybe think outside the box. These trout have seen shiners, crawlers, and power bait up the wazoo. Show them something they haven't seen before, like a soft plastic jerkbait, or a curly tail grub. It has worked for me in the past, maybe it will work for you. Be persistent. Show them everything in your tackle box until you find what they want.
