today 10/23 even worse i got skunked at Black River when everyone else caught fish. the only action i got was a 10 second long hookup using a white mr. twister but the fish spat the hook b/c it was dull. the guy fishing across from me in a deep hole caught 2 fish in 10 minutes on LIVE WORMS.<---thats probably the ticket  and also another guy caught a fat huge 21" on a spinner and his friend got a 18" on a rapala of some sort. plus someone walking out with a big one on a stringer. over 5 hours of fishing and none for me  want to try striped bass now. |
Wow, I think this was just a tough weekend. Hopefully it will be good until the water locks up.
