Default Burmham Pickerel

Tried my usual catfish/carp methods sat (10/8) for half an hour, heavy chum of corn...waited for some feeding activity...nothing...saw fish breaking in the middle of the pond, looked like bass or pickerel, so I reeled in my corn lines. Hooked a 6" pickerel while reeling in with the corn, 2nd time this has happened this year. I tied on a shallow diving rapala and went took a walk around the lower pond, casting all over. Hooked 3 more pickerel (15", 15", 19") and a small largemouth in the next 45 mins.

I went back this morning with the rapala and hit the upper pond from 7:15 to 8:15. Hit 3 more pickerel (20", 24" and 14") called it a day when I threw my trusty rapala into a tree . Saw a few carp feeding this morning, but not in the usual places.

Anyone tried shore fishing for bows at Round Valley yet? Any news?
