Andy - His website is still up with the same contact info. No indication that he left the business behind. He just picked up and left in a hurry.
Duffman - I think you have the right idea. I think he ran afoul of someone or some group and didn't move to SC so much as flee there. I don't think his intent was to make off with his clients' money; that's a long way to go for what is likely only a handful of $100 deposit checks.
acabtp - I honestly didn't think to file a police report; I was just too shocked to think straight, I guess. Plus, for $100, is it really worth the headache? But the way I figure it, once whoever is after Roger catches up with him, he will likely receive punishment enough.
