after getting skunked yesterday at the surf, went catfishing this morning in the canal. sucked again. nothing but a lil' painted turtle
. so later that day i went to duck island along the big D and wound up with a monster 30" eel, a white perch and 2 tiny channel cats. where the hell are these big catfish everyone talks about?
i noticed that both the canal and delaware river water clarity was moderatley stained. i never have luck when its like that. only when its either muddy, or clear at night.
also some guy told me about the power plant and how theres lots of monster carp off this jetty. i tried looking for it. only thing down the road was a sign with an arrow pointing towards the back of the plant that said "fishing access" at the front entrance of the plant. i drove down the road only to wind up at a dead end with a road closed sign in the middle of the woods
does anyone know how to get to this "jetty"?
