Default Turn Mill Pond 9/18

Decided to hit Turn Mill Pond yesterday evening. We were hoping all the fish from Prospertown that were put in there would be on the feed. We got on the water at 5:30 pm. We worked the front of the lake in the pads and trolled rapalas to the back with no success. When we started working the back of the lake, we started to catch fish. It wasn't an all out slam, but it was OK fishing with some quality mixed in. We got off the lake at 7:30 pm. We combined for 6 bass, 2 pickeral, and 1 crappie. Big fish was a 3lb. bass. My dad had that one, along with a SLOB crappie near the 2 lb. mark. An OK evening of fishing, defintely better than Saturday evening. I don't know, 4 trips to this pond with 1 excellant day and 3 poor to fair days . I guess Ill have to give it another shot in the springtime. Gonna be on Assunpink afterschool today, hopefully we can repeat last Monday's result.
