Default Washington Valley Res...Again

Hit WV Res again last night from 6 PM until about 8:30. It is the only place I can get to recently so I apologize for the seemingly repeat reports.

Figured I'd go out a little later to avoid the heat after driving back from South Jersey. HA!...that didn't work...I roasted my face off for the first hour and a half. Got 3 LMB on Green Pumpkin/Chartruse Strike King Shimmy Stick (Senko type but figured I'd give Strike King the proper credit) All bass came from the feeder creek after 7:30 when the sun finally dipped below most of the trees. Great little pattern that caught all three was looking for frogs on the opposite bank and throwing at them. They jump into the water (or after the bait) you jerk your lure into the water and bam. If you didn't land on shore or close enough to get that frog to jump you wouldn't get 'em. It was the only thing that worked. Oh..all bass between 1 and 1.5 lbs or so.

Try to stay cool supposed to get hotter! Being a "larger" guy this heat aint no fun in my opinion.
