Default Clark's Pond 5/28

Sorry for the late report, haven't had Internet access since Friday evening.

Hit Clark's Pond on Saturday. Started out at 5:00 am. We began fishing topwaters with no luck. Switched back to subsurface lures and we started to catch. By the time we left the lake at 11:00 am , we had 38 pickeral, bass, crappie, and sunfish. Decent bass to pickeral ratio. Big fish of the day was a 4.5 lb. pickeral that took a white Mr Twister on an ultralight setup(fish was caught by my dad). Biggest bass was around 2.5 lbs.. Did get 2 blowups on a frog in the beggining but otherwise topwater was obsolete. Fishing died when it got hot out. Only dealt with one other boat all day . Good morning of fishing away from all the madness on Memorial Day weekend, couldn't ask for much more.

On a side note, fished Pemberton in the evening. It SUCKED. We had 3 crappies and 1 bass for our efforts.
