Prospertown Easter AM
Grandson and I were on the water at 6:00 am with perfect conditions . We had 2 keeper Crappie on the first lap with a few shorts . There was a slight breeze so we tried a drift off Rollercoaster Point down the channel . the bite was on . We just let our jigs out with the boat cross wind and kept contact with the bottom lifting and dropping . We were off the water and on our way home by 9:00 . We kept our limits of Crappie (20) and three big Sunfish . This was the best trip this Season . We never tried to jig the fish that we located on the troll on the main lake as we never had to leave the Rollercoaster Point area . We have seen a Bald Eagle hanging around the East side of the lake twice now and an Osprey fishing .
