Headed out with Kirk, Danny and 4 year old Dylan for an afternoon shot at the bass. Just after leaving the inlet we found the bunker and Danny got the net on them putting 60 or so in the livewell. Headed north and our first stop yielded only big gator blues. Sniffed around looking for the right marks and we found them and set up. I was still feeding the bait out when it got picked up and it was fish on - for 3 of us. For the next 3 hours it was non-stop with bass from 20-30#(estimated) and numerous big blues. 4 year old Dylan was a hard core Viking who reeled in 3 bass - including the 2 biggest of the day - unassisted (other than the rod being in the holder). We used every piece of bait in the boat and made it back to the inlet before dark. Kept a couple of the smaller fish for the grill and released the rest to fight another day. Got some decent video which I will try to compile and add later. Awesome day on the water - God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops!!!
