A little Sea Bass help, please?

Going to hit a party or charter boat next week for sea bass. What type of rigs do you guys use? What size hooks? Circle hooks? I have TONS of tackle for flounder, fluke, stripers, blues, etc.. but I never really went out targeting sea bass. Any info on rigs/hooks would be appreciated! :D

2/0 or 3/0 baitholders. 30 to 50 lb leader material, whatever you have. Sinker on the bottom, hooks directly on 3" dropper loops, about 6 and 24" off the bottom with a barrel swivel on top. Bait with fresh clams and wait for a strong bite, ignore the little picks. Bring any 4" gulp you have left from fluke, sometimes it helps. Keep it simple and enjoy.

Plain chrome jig, no tail, 3 or 4 oz will catch the biggest fish. Everything else works but jigs separate the men from the boys consistently. Live bergall or filets are also well liked by the big knuckleheads.:)
