Diamond Jigs

Hi All,

Hopefully an easy question, what size diamond jigs do you use for bass around Sandy Hook? Also, can anyone share a link to a crippled herring lure that has worked for them?

Depends on water depth and current speed. I’ve used everything from A27s (@2.5 ounces) to A87s.

Size of the AVA jig is going to be determined mostly by he outfit you're using. You can't throw an AVA047 with a light rod and you can't throw an AVA007 with a heavy rod.
