Golden Eagle - GOOD FISHING FOR BLUES, BONITO & MACKEREL

We had a GOOD day of fishing. We caught BLUES early in the day and then caught BONITO and MACKEREL. Everything was on Run Off hammer jigs and bait.

We will be on a Tuna Trip Monday and Tuesday.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.

Great to catch those HUGE blues again. Lots of mahi swimming around in the slick early on, I boated a small one.

RIDICULOUS "Hazardous Seas Warning" yesterday! Since when does a 16 second period period between what could only generously be called swells warrant that kind of scary descriptive? Causal weekenders reading about all the hurricanes link the two and stay home. Killer for business as the PB's were half empty on a beautiful summer-like Sunday.
