So we left on time and took a very comfortable ride
out. Set up on the anchor which turned out to be the
beginning of a very long night. There wasn't a tuna bite
to be had until about 830 in the morning.and that turned
out to be the only tuna for the trip probably 60 pounds.
I did however catch the same pesky blue shark twice.
There was however an unbelievable bite of very large s
squid. I never have caught so many so easily
So to wrap it up the tuna fishing was great but the tuna
catching sucked. But it was great to be out there

i was out there. great boat great crew great weather great squid fishing. tuna bite was god awful,but still had a great time.

We'll I guess I know 3 guys that will be having Calamari & hot sauce tonight.
The squid bit was nuts all you wanted & then some. double headers on 1 jig.

Those squid really ain't the eating kind, right? Big thick fleshed bodies. Not like the sub species caught inshore...
