Reel Class Monday 8/21 Fluke to 8.5#
 

We had Another good day today with the fluke today for our open trip.

Fished basically the same snags as yesterday. Had a good drift early, followed by no drift, followed by a 1 kt+ drift. We caught fish all day, had some lulls, but fishing was generally good.

Finished 2 shy of our limit and had 3 fish over 7#, and several 3-5#ers plus countless shorts. Big fish went to Spencer with an 8.5# but Brian got one just at 8 and had another one in the 7-7.5# range. Also jigged up a lobster!

HH had 5 - good trip till that S wind got snappy and the drift went up over 1.5 kts. Still a real good day with a great crew of regulars.
