Belmar launch ramp question

Both the Belmar marine basin and Bry's list their opening times at 9 am weekdays.. So I am guessing thats when the ramps open as well???.
Seems kind of late for most fishermen.. Do they allow launching earlier and then pay when you return or something?.. Its been many many years since I launched there, but i do seem to recall getting out at daybreak there when I lived close by. Thought I paid at the bait shop, but it was many years back, over 25.. I know AH and Leonardo are 24/7, and thats where I usually launch, but I was hoping to fish the rough bottom north of the inlet this week, and its a lot longer boat ride from AH that it is from belmar.. any info would be appreciated.. bob

Fishermans Den sells tokens, not sure what day your going but they open early. Shark River Marina has a public launch that is pay as you go. Ten bucks a opening of the gate, anytime day or night.

You can use both before 9am. You can get tokens for the Belmar ramp ahead of time or early in the morning. I also usually see a ramp attendant there. For Brys, you need to get a key for the ramp. I have not used it in a few years but the keys were always available at Macs bait and tackle which is right near the ramp.

Be very careful at Brys launch ramp. There is a steep drop off at the bottom of the ramp. Not easy to load boat back on trailer at low tide.

True that is. And the tide can seriously rip through there.
