Weekend mixed bag! Big Channel...etc, etc!
 

Was lucky enough to get out both days this weekend despite some family events! Yesterday I got out to do some trolling with my buddy Striper Swiper! The N-NE wind made things tough but we still found a few!!!

Headed out bright and early today to do some jigging! Walleye weren't home and the river was still really stained from whatever rain occurred Friday night. Channel Cats and Smallies didn't seem to mind the dirty water. Managed about 5-6 cookie cutter Channels 3-6 lbs and 1 beast coming in @ 30 inches and 10 lb 6 ounces! The damn fish hit a Johnson blade bait in gold! It's really amazing how aggressive cats can be! Another crazy battle up and down the river on the ultra lite Walleye rod!

Smallies were in a feeding frenzy this morning! Got 7 of them to the net with the biggest 1 coming off my hook due to a sick aerial jump! They were kinda small in my opinion, 12-16 inches on average! The fish I lost was around 20! Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes! Still some good action overall with most fish falling for the live bait in the jig again!!!

I spoke too soon.

I use imgur and just post the image url with the "insert image" button, thing with the landscape.

Thing with imgur however is you need to copy the .jpg url. When you upload them on there you click the image in a new tab and copy that url.

Nice fish man! That's a sloppy kitty. I've yet to break the 10# mark on a catfish but I'm working on it......... Great job, love the pics but I think something's wrong with that brid?? :D
