mako sharks and fishing them?

so the question is if early june to beginning middle of july is a good time for them depending on the water temp, cause from what i have read they like about 65-72 degree water. and the water temps rise ! where do they go (north) ? and when do they come back around ? when the water temp goes back to those degrees ? pardon my ignorance here but i have fished for them but twice and would like to start more often

They move north and come back through our waters in Sept/Oct.

Prime time for makos is June,July,September,October. There are Makos off the coast all summer. When water temperature is on the high side we fish deeper water and try to work areas that are holding small bluefin tuna. Also worth mentioning it's been our experience that in the warmer water most of the makos will be between 40lbs and 100lbs. Feel free to pm me if u have any other questions
Ps don't forget your tag stick

I'd say last night was a good time to find one... Jenny Lee killed a rather large unit: 926!!
