Penn Fathom 2 Speed for Tiles

Will a Fathom 30 two speed work well for tiles? I bought a Squall 40 on bad advise. Don't even know what I'm going to use the 40 for now.

Fathom seems to be a good bang for the buck.

Use the 30 2 speed for stripers with excellent results. Have no reason why it wouldn't be good for tiles.
