Full Moon Fever Redux - 6/8/17

Finally got the boat back in time for the weekly zombie adventure. The engine now runs like a top. Never heard of a bent reed block?

Loaded up the Sasquatch Militia around 7:30pm and made our way to the grounds. Pulled up to the first spot and I hook up with a spunky 18" hybrid on the first cast! Was really praying this wasn't going to be a the first cast curse trip!

Turns out it wasn't! Caught this beautiful PB tying 26" Walleye a few minutes later just as the sun was going down.

We had a couple of blowups and misses until dark. Decided to make a move to a new spot and Chrisper and JDTrout put on a clinic hooking up with a couple of nice fish.

The cloud cover started to pull away and the full moon had the lake lit up like daytime.

We made our way down to another typically hot spot and had herring and blowups all around us but no love. Gave it a frustrating  hour and decided to leave the active fish and try some new ground.

Made the right call as I immediately hooked up with an 19" walleye on top water. Chrisper had an 18" walleye and JDTrout followed up with a nice lmb.

Was about to call it and Chrisper hooks into something BIG. After a couple of drag pulling runs he lands his new PB hybrid at 25 1/8"!

Finished the trip with 6 walleye, 5 hybrids, smb, lmb, and a pickerel.
JDTrout gets the multi-species award.

All Fish Were RELEASED For Others To Enjoy!

As I was buttoning up the boat at 2:30 am I saw this guy stumbling around mumbling something about Brexfist?
