Paulinskill river

My son and I fished the Paulinskill river early this morning. He had his flyrod me my ultralight. The fishing was outstanding. He caught 7 trout and a smallmouth on nymphs. And took 2 trout on a caddis. I caught 7 smallmouth 5 or 6 crappies and 4 bluegills as big as my hand Im 6ft 3in 300lbs and have a big hand those bluegills fought like an 17 inch smallie. As I have said in the past whenever me and my son can get together to fish it is such a blessing.

Fishing with friends and family is always a good time! Sounds like you guys had a great day. The Paulinskill is beautiful.

Days like that stay with you forever.

I've never fished the Paulinskill. Given I largely spin fish, is there a specific stretch with a good volume of fast water? Thanks.
