Millstone River tiger muskie pic
1 Attachment(s)
I've been trying to post this pic for more than a week and it just worked now. 5/26/2017 I caught and released a 22" tiger muskie in the Millstone River with a 1/32 oz jig and 2 lb test line. The fish was hooked in the tip of the upper lip outside the teeth. It made spectacular leaps and fast runs. When I grabbed it, the fish wiggled out of my hand several times. They are very slippery and lively.

Damn dude... Not only is that a good catch on a good setup but it's nice to see more musky from that river

I know F&G stocked tigers in Carnegie a few years back. I wonder if this is from Carnegie or from the Canal...

Re: Millstone River tiger muskie pic
Excellent job man! Must of been a hell of a fight. Unreal with the the 2 lb fluro too. I got mine with 8 lb mono. I still don't know how i gill plated mine having no experience handling a musky before. Those teeth are a little intimidating at first.
