peaceful memorial day on the cong
 

it was a late start today due to chores and the rain but i did manage to get out on the big pond today to find it rather quiet. started to fish small back coves with a cream worm and caught 4 larrys in the pads. then it was out to the main water where i fished with a bill dance swimin image and got one more larry,a slime dart and a 22" brid that was a shock because i never catch anything at that spot on the lake. i was drifting to my next spot when i got the brid, it took me on a short drag in my canoe before i landed it. measured it and let it go. all fish were released to fight another day.

yeh skunk i am not afraid of the googans and their big boats, hell i even fished for fluke in the sandy hook area in that canoe. the cong was rather calm for memorial day
