Raritan River Trout
 

Hit the river today with Andy and we did decent. Caught three fish total, one of which we didn't land. The river was higher than normal after the rain, and dirtier than usual. We were throwing black hair jigs for a good hour or 2 with no bites. I decided to go bright and flashy and that's when the bite turned on. We could have caught them all day at the one spot but the rain ruined our day. Hope everyone else did good, and hope to see you guys on the water!

Robert St. and DIP. Water was high and off. When things clear up the trout bite should be good again.

RiverRat and I hit DIP ourselves and did mediocre with a few ok smallies. I knocked out a bunch of rock bass (and was disappointed that the strong pull that they give at the end of the line wasnt a bigger fish)

You made our day look like we skunked. I wonder about those hair jigs ;)
