Started the week off with 3 early morning trips in a row to the FL. Threw various soft plastic jigs and minnow plugs x raps. Nothing for 3 days. Only snagged little white perch that pee wee hermaned on my shoe. My buddy, however, hooked into but lost what he felt was a very big striper.

Yesterday afternoon went to the D.I.P stretch and got my two week skunk off me. Hooked into 3 cookie rainbows, few lil smallies, 1 rock bass, and a decent lil LMB all on smaller silver, orange belly Rebel minnow. I went back this morning and hooked into 2 20-21" Shad. One on phoebe, other on small jig. Thought I had a big Rainbow at first when I seen the silver flash in the water.

Nice mixed bag dude!

Funny people are going to the D.I.P. stretch in search of trout and coming up with shad instead ! Quite the mixed bag. See what happens when the water warms up now.

way to go !! on your fishin trip . my question is were the hell is the d.i.p. stretch ? obviously Iam not real familiar with that river yet .
