5/15/17: Ran into the NY/NJ Baykeeper group doing water sampling/testing in Raritan Borough on the Raritan river. They will be testing sites in Manville, Piscataway and 2 sites on the South Branch. Testing should be complete by early June

How'd you do fishing? I went to the ladder to catch a striper, end up catching a carp. Saw a huge esox in the canal, end up with a decent lmb. Went to lamington for washed out trout, caught a few dink smb.

Raritan was the highest I've seen it!

Any idea what parameters they were sampling for? Physical? Chemical? Microbial?

They said mico-plastics. But they were turning over rocks so it could be macro-invertebrate.
