Sheds fishing Report
5 Attachment(s)
Went up to the Sheds to renew the permits for the year. Nice day, a little on the chilly side. The winds were a bit relentless and it was hard to keep a spot even with the anchor down. Fished all afternoon and the bite was so and so. A few panfish, some dinky smallies and some Pickerel.
Pretty much all the fish were caught on jigs with Keitech swim baits. They seemed to like the lighter colors vs the darker baits. We modified them a bit and cut about an inch off the head. Just to present a smaller profile as we saw several fish follow the baits to the boat but not fully commit and striking aggressively. As the sun was setting, the two nice footballs bellow were landed. Lb for Lb, those smallies are amazing fighters as they go charging under the boat peeling drag. Re: Sheds fishing Report
Nice job. I can't believe the water is still low at that particular one.

Re: Sheds fishing Report
We hit up two of the 4.
Oak was beyond full. The water line was to the treeline right at the launch. Crazy how full it was vs last year. It was our first launch at the Can, and it seemed completely full as well, but again I couldn't speak on previous water levels. |
Re: Sheds fishing Report
Canisters is still low because a Beaver Dam is blocking the flow. Watershed is working on unblocking it!
