Best day trout fishing of my life..Spring Lake!!
 

So close to two weeks ago i asked for any spring lake reports and wasn't able to receive any. So i guess the old saying don't read the reports be the report was true today. I had a feeling that after the morning rain i had a hunch on what to use and a brief window on when i can go(12-3). I caught the biggest trout of my life and he put on a show ripping drag and jumping four times.. after a couple holy sh*ts and the fish doing his thing i had acouple people around me watching and cheering me on. i was lucky enough to land him and happy that a spectator was willing to take a picture of me releasing him. I didn't take any measurements due to me wanting him to get back to the water but i'm 6'1 260 and he was as wide as my shoulders and he was CHUNKY!! ended the day with 11 trout total three fish over 20 inches and that bruiser.kept 4 that wouldn't have lived for the release and the rest is history. Hopefully some of you guys had or will have a day like this for yourselves this year.Best wishes.

Thank you Andy... it was just a guy walking his dog across the bridge and was nice enough to take it.. he yelled at me for throwing it back but when I showed him the stringer and told him I had dinner and this fish deserves to live he understood..

Very nice on the CPR. I always say that if I catch a big breeder that I would release it in hopes that some youngster catches it and is hopefully forever hooked on fishing.
