3-25-17 Dead river report
2 Attachment(s)
Me & butchie decided to give the dirty d a try as this time last year we had been catching striped catfish for 3 weeks. We got to the river in deep souf nj, baits in by 7am. few small bites but nothing to swing on, after 9am we didn't get another bite. left there at 2:30 & said we ain't getting skunked, so we came back to Pa hit the cockolla college pond. tried magnets, tubes, twisters, crawlers & not a bite, said ok 1 last try at lake cockolla. got there saw 3 beautiful tarpon jump so I set out 2 rods with corn, as soon as I did that it got windy & cold & not a sniff or sighting of another tarpon. Finally we were able to get a few tiny tiny bass & bluegills on crawlers but overall nothing to rave about. I am off Thursday think I am gonna give it hell again. Highlight of the day was seeing a chupacabra in the water.
