Arctic Char through the Ice
Who brings their vexilar and jigging rods on a family ski vacation? This guy!!
Spent a week in Colorado and got a chance to sneak out to the Dillon Reservoir in summit county which is one of two places in the lower 48 that has char. Unfortunately didn't get a monster but did manage a smaller one as well as some trout. Also dropped an estimated 8-10 lb brown on 3# line. Fought him to the hole twice and looked me right in the eye and popped me off. DAMN!! Char: http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/a...psvydkvydw.jpg http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/a...pst4puwrok.jpg Colorado Rainbow for comparison: http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/a...psgpllojab.jpg |

that sounds like some fun right there! can you imagine the reverse... someone coming into nj from out of state and fishing an unknown place with no prior knowledge and actually being successful, not likely haha.
