I was over at the store today helping out a friend and pretty sad to see it go been shoppin there since i was a kid riding my bike with a rod in my backpack to the store and susan the cash register lady yelling leave your backpack here lol sad to see it go!!!!

Andy got the eel mount and random customers bought them off the wall. The striper chasing the bunker sold for 2500$

Although I hate to see any of the local sport shops go, there is no love lost for this place. Besides the pricing being too high even relative to other local shops, it was their horrible attitude toward customer service that was the worst. The last time I was in there a few years ago, I wanted to look at a few firearms but the guy behind the counter was only interested in hitting on the girl I was with. He made more than inappropriate comments to her and made condescending comments to me when I asked him to stop. I complained to management on my way out of the store and they couldn't care less... didn't even apologize for the employees behavior... good riddance Effen-Jerks

Other review sites confirm bad service, and I dont get how they expected to stand the test of time with the combination of high prices + bad service.

Prices may not have been the best, but the guys in the fishing department were always good to me and bubba when we came in...gonna miss the place :(
